country house “Pomantello” from the 17th Century is picturesquely
situated on a hilltop offering spectacular views. The adjacent nature
park Monte Rufeno borders our property and the medieval village Torre
Alfina is visible in the distance.
On the hilltop, the main house is situated with a spacious apartment and two adjoining building with smaller apartments.
We have donkey’s, sheep, chickens, pigeons, dogs and
cats; all to add to the idyllic atmosphere |

Directly
behind our property begins the nature reserve
Monte Rufeno with its unique environment. The cute little village Torre Alfina, situated beneath the impressive castle, is only a ten minute walk away. |

well-known German artist Thomas Lange has launched the project Chambre D'Amis Torre Alfina. At various private houses artwork from local and international artists can be seen. The annual Torre Alfina Bluesfestival attracts many International visitors as well. |

| In the middle of the nearby medieval town Orvieto is situated the unique cathedral of Orvieto. Designed by the architect Arnolfo di Cambio and accomplished by Lorenzo Maitani and his sons, the cathedral was established beginning from the year 1290. In the cathedral is located the masterpiece of Luca Signorelli: The Fresco of the Last Judgment from the year 1499. |
