The country house “Pomantello” from the 17th Century is picturesquely situated on a hilltop offering spectacular views. The adjacent nature park Monte Rufeno borders our property and the medieval village Torre Alfina is visible in the distance.
Our five lovely vacation homes have been furnished with care for detail and all the comforts of home, all done in a rustic style with terracotta and timber beam floors, antique furnishings and decorated with fine and traditional art from the local artists of the area.

On the hilltop, the main house is situated with a spacious apartment and two adjoining building with smaller apartments.

We have donkey’s, sheep, chickens, pigeons, dogs and cats; all to add to the idyllic atmosphere
of Pomantello.

For the children there are plenty of play possibilities near the house: Swings, chute, jack, sand box,
kicker, Ping Pong and a totem pole.

The large garden is lovingly arranged and adds to the unique atmosphere.

Within our grounds you will find many lovely places that will invite you to sit with a good glass
of wine while you enjoy the sunsets and the beautiful views.

We are an Italian-German family, with an interest in organic farming and sharing our home/culture with others. In a friendly,
relaxed atmosphere, we try to make your
stay with us as comfortable, joyous and memorable as possible.
Our interests are eclectic: art, archaeology, pottery, hunting, fishing, diving, surfing, motorcycling and classic cars. We love
to share our knowledge and interests with
our guests.

Whenever desired, we can prepare in our Taverna for groups, typical dishes with products
from the area. Our specialty is a pizza-dinner with house-made dough and baked in a traditional wood stove.

The mild climate and breathtaking landscapes are ideal for unwinding and leaving the your
worries behind.

Directly behind our property begins the nature reserve Monte Rufeno with its unique environment.

The cute little village Torre Alfina,
situated beneath the impressive castle,
is only a ten minute walk away.
Here the internationally well-known German
artist Thomas Lange has launched the project
Chambre D'Amis Torre Alfina.
At various private houses artwork from local
and international artists can be seen.

The annual Torre Alfina Bluesfestival
attracts many International visitors as well.

In the middle of the nearby medieval town Orvieto is situated the unique cathedral of Orvieto. Designed by the architect Arnolfo di Cambio and accomplished by Lorenzo Maitani and his
sons, the cathedral was established beginning from the year 1290.

In the cathedral is located the masterpiece of Luca Signorelli: The Fresco of the
Last Judgment from the year 1499.
